House in Bellbird Park

Male 30-45 to join Matt and Esmond in Bellbird Park
SIL 1:3

We are looking for a male co-tenant for Matt and Esmond.

Both men are no spring chickens ( so no high voltage teens please LOL) but do love to go out and have some fun, as well as chill at home watching movies, doing gardening and going for a walk around their local area.

The men are looking for someone in the age range of 35-65 who share the same interests as them which are: Planes, cars, shopping, going out to local events, watching the planes at the airport, cooking, gardening and meeting new people.

The support in the home is based 1:3. We can look at all options of extra supports that you need if living with Matt and Es is what you want! We have a good balance of male and female staff within the home, overnights are inactive, but of course staff are always available if needed.
The rent is $240 per week which also includes: Netflix, phone and internet, lawn mowing, cleaning products, communal items (glad wrap etc) window cleaning each year and one spring clean as well as contents insurance. Within this Ignite also supplies all the communal furniture, white goods with repairs and replacements included where necessary. The rental amount is reassessed each November and is based on changes to the actual rental amount by the landlord. Any increases will always be advised to you as early as possible.

Beautiful near new home. Has two living areas and happy to convert the garage to create another one if all parties agree! Shared bathroom and toilet. This home is not an accessible home, its very standard, hand rails can be installed if needed. Flat driveway and front yard. Flat throughout, small step into the shower, small step at the front and back doors. Lovely garden out back with a grassed area. Fully furnished with white goods, all kitchen equipment supplied. Solar panels on the roof = a very cheap electricity bill! Quiet area not far from Town Square Redbank or Orion Springfield.

The property is a private rental that Ignite head leases. We do this so we can help people actually have a home they love and the security of it not being taken away from them if they want to change providers. This is the ignite difference. When you sign your lease and agreement with us, you are not locked in. If you chose to no longer have Ignite as your SIL supports, as much as we don’t want to see you go, you are free to do so and just need to have the lease put into someone else’s name, we will remove all that is owned by us, switch over utilities and it’s all yours. Its not our place to say you are locked in and don’t have a home if you leave us..HOW RUDE! Your home is your right, and we would never take that away from you.

There aren’t any. You pay your rent. You pay your share of the utilities and contributions and that’s it. We don’t want your pension, not even a teeny bit of it. Your money after these bills is yours not ours! We can help you put together a grocery plan and budget, as well as a spending and saving budget too! This is what supported independent living is all about, learning all you can, to become as independent as possible!

We know from experience the way we run our SIL homes works well. It allows people to have everything anyone else would at home and is very transparent.

In addition to that, each home has it’s very own team leader, that is only allocated to THAT HOME. This team leader is reportable to the Program Manager who works closely with each team leader to ensure that we have cohesive teams who are feeling positive and empowered to make a difference in the life of your loved one. How we see it? If you don’t have a positive team supporting people, people do not make progress and where people do not make progress people are not moving forward in their lives to do and be the best they can. Life is about moving forward, learning, growing and every changing. This is the same for ALL people, no matter their ability.

That’s enough telling you how good we are…. Just make a call, have a chat and you will see for yourself! An A+ NDIS audit with no issues or recommendations to do anything better AND a 9/10 rating by our staff and participants tell me that we might just know what we are doing here and that we are worlds apart from the rest. All you have to do is give me a call to find out.

I am happy for you to call Andrea on 0457 454 107 or email [email protected] If any of our SIL vacancies interest you, or you would like to discuss moving your supports to us, we would love to hear about how we can change yours, or your loved ones world for the better. It’s a decision that you won’t regret.
